Papa Oppong has partnered with Godfrey K. M. Tietaah Memorial Ventures in Tamale, Ghana to hand-craft unique textiles employing the traditional art of Fugu weaving. These incredible textiles are traditionally woven on wooden looms and made of sustainably sourced cotton yarns.

Godfrey K.M. Tietaah Memorial ventures is a woman-owned business headed by Faustina Tietaah with women comprising more than 50% of the task force living and working in Tamale, Ghana.

This unique partnership ensures all our weavers earn a livable wage through production, essentially strengthening efforts towards fair trade practices within the nation of Ghana.
